Building New Zealand's Industrial & Commercial Workforce Network
Arcla connects skilled workers with companies across New Zealand by making hiring, verification and workforce management faster, simpler and more reliable.
Why we exist
Our mission
Our mission is to make it easier for skilled people and businesses to connect across New Zealand. Arcla brings experience, qualifications and opportunities together, helping workers showcase what they offer and companies find the people they need.
Your own presence online
No website? Your Arcla Passport can be your mini website. Give customers and employers one place to discover your trade, experience and availability. Choose a custom handle and make your profile public when you are ready to share it.
Find the right people
Connect with skilled workers who suit your projects. Explore shared profiles, work history and availability, then start a conversation about the role.
Clear qualification status
See which qualifications have been reviewed, which are awaiting review and which have expired. Documents submitted for verification are checked by a person before a badge is awarded.
Built for your industry
Connect across industrial and commercial work, from construction and maintenance to shutdowns and industry training. Arcla brings workers, companies and trainers together across New Zealand.
Your own mini website
Arcla Passport
You do not need to build a website to have a professional presence online. Your Arcla Passport gives small contractors and workers their own mini website to showcase what they do. Set your profile to Public so customers and employers can view the details you choose to share.
Choose an available custom handle, such as arcla.co.nz/your-name, and put your link or QR code on email signatures, vehicle signage, business cards, quotes and other documents. Update your Passport as your work grows, with one place for people to find your latest information.
- Trade, skills and availability in one place
- Premium adds documents, manual review and richer presentation
- Certificate expiry dates tracked automatically
- Showcase work history and projects with Premium
- Shareable via link or QR code — no app required

The platform
Why Arcla
Practical tools for New Zealand's industrial workforce — from finding skilled people to showcasing your company and managing the hire.
Reviewed qualifications
Premium members can request qualification reviews by hand. Companies see exactly which tickets are verified, which are pending and which have expired — with no ambiguity.
Powerful Search
Filter workers by trade, region, availability, verified qualifications and more. Find the right person for a shutdown or a long-term role without phone-tag.
New Zealand–Focused
Built for Aotearoa's industrial sector — regions, trades, licensing requirements and employment law are all accounted for. No generic global templates.
Jobs & Invitations
Post detailed roles with trade, region, rate, roster and site requirements. Invite workers directly from the directory or manage inbound applications — all in one place.
One Account, Multiple Roles
A contractor who also runs a small company can hold both profiles under a single login — switching modes without logging out or juggling separate accounts.
Public Company Profiles
Showcase your services, industries, regions, featured projects, photos and open jobs on a public company profile. Include your story, website and contact details so workers and potential partners can connect.

Hire with confidence
Review shared Arcla Passports, see real verification status and manage your shortlist — all before anyone sets foot on site.
Honest verification
We take verification seriously — and we're transparent about what it means. When a contractor uploads a ticket or licence, it is not automatically marked as verified. Premium members request review separately after uploading. A member of the Arcla team checks the evidence by hand; payment never grants verification.
Until that review is complete, a qualification is shown as Pending review or Not verified. The Verified badge only appears after successful manual review, while Premium is active and the review remains valid.
Original document files are excluded from public profiles. Owners and authorized reviewers can access private originals; eligible companies may access qualification evidence through an authorized hiring relationship.

Our story
Built by industry, for industry
Arcla was created after years of experience working across New Zealand's industrial and commercial sectors. We experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to find qualified contractors, manage certifications and connect skilled people with the right projects. Arcla was built to simplify those challenges for both contractors and companies.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Arcla. Can't find the answer? Get in touch.
Arcla is New Zealand's industrial and commercial workforce platform. It connects skilled workers — riggers, fitters, electricians, crane operators and more — with companies running shutdowns, builds and maintenance programmes across Aotearoa. Workers create a free basic profile and can choose Premium for richer presentation and manual review; companies post jobs and search the directory.
Worker Free is $0 and includes a basic publicly viewable profile, directory inclusion and link or QR sharing, subject to your privacy choices. Jobs and applications remain free. Worker Premium is planned at NZ$10/month + GST, billed monthly with no annual worker plan. It adds richer presentation, document uploads and manual review eligibility. Payments are not connected yet.
The first 30 eligible approved companies get 12 months of company access free, including job posting, worker search and messaging. No card is required and there are no automatic charges. Company verification is required. See Plans for availability and offer terms.
Arcla Passport is your digital work record. Free sharing opens your basic profile. Active Premium opens a richer Passport with your introduction and content you choose to publish, using the same link and QR code. Premium workers can also create a PDF by choosing sections and individual records, with an optional insurance-certificate copy. This is separate from downloading original uploaded files. See the worker plan comparison for the availability of saved PDF selections.
Premium members can upload qualifications, certificates and ID and request up to three manual review cases per New Zealand calendar month, including ID. Corrections to the same case do not use another allowance. Payment never grants verification. Badges require successful, valid reviews and active Premium. Free workers cannot upload new evidence or request review.
Your basic profile and QR link remain available according to your privacy choices. Premium presentation, Featured eligibility, new PDF exports and displayed verification badges stop. Stored information, original files and legitimate review history are retained and remain accessible to you. Copies of PDFs already downloaded cannot be withdrawn by changing your profile. New uploads and review requests require Premium. Renewing restores eligible presentation and badges supported by still-valid reviews.
Yes. Arcla supports multiple profiles under a single login. If you work as a contractor and also run a small company, you can switch between modes without logging out. Each profile is independent with its own dashboard, qualifications and job history.
Arcla is purpose-built for New Zealand's industrial and commercial sectors — including shutdowns, refinery maintenance, construction fit-outs, infrastructure projects, civil works and commercial builds. Supported trades include riggers, mechanical fitters, crane operators, rope access technicians, electricians, boilermakers, scaffolders, welders, pipefitters and more.
Your profile visibility and individual sharing choices control what others see. ID files and original certificates are never published on a public profile. Owners and authorized reviewers can access the relevant private originals; eligible companies may access qualification evidence through an authorized hiring relationship. Public links may be forwarded.
Companies register, post a detailed job listing and search the worker directory, which includes reviewed and unreviewed profiles. You can filter by trade, region, availability and qualification status, then invite workers directly or review applications. Arcla Passport profiles show the information each worker chooses to share — verification status, work history, tickets and expiry dates — before anyone sets foot on site.
Use the Support page to tell us what would help you find work or hire. We describe available features on the plan pages; proposed features have no promised release date.
