Cookie Policy
Effective date: 2 August 2026
Last updated: 2 August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Arcla Ltd (“Arcla”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you use the Arcla platform. For more information about how we handle your personal information generally, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits and remember certain information about you.
Similar technologies include session storage, local storage, and other browser-based storage mechanisms. This policy covers all such technologies.
2. How We Use Cookies
Arcla uses cookies for the following purposes:
| Type | Purpose | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication session management (keeping you logged in), security tokens, and core platform functionality. The platform cannot function without these. | Yes |
| Functional | Remembering your preferences (e.g., dismissed banners, selected role), improving your experience across visits. | No |
| Analytics | Understanding how the platform is used so we can improve it. If analytics are enabled, data is anonymised where possible. | No |
We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising. We do not share cookie data with advertisers.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some features of the Platform rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies:
- Supabase — used for authentication and database access. Supabase may set cookies to manage your session.
When paid subscription features are introduced in future, a payment processor may also set cookies for fraud prevention and payment security. This policy will be updated at that time.
Third-party services have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review.
4. Managing Cookies
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View cookies that have been set;
- Delete cookies individually or in bulk;
- Block cookies from specific websites; and
- Block all third-party cookies.
Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:
Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the Platform.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature. The Platform does not currently respond to DNT signals. We will update this policy if our approach changes.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform or by email.
